Want good, green jobs that provide for human needs, the needs of the planet and the funds to pay for them? It’s entirely possible.
At a Jobs4All webinar on 2021.9.29 the Greater New Haven Peace Council presented a slideshow that briefly explains spending on how cutting the enormous US military budget that funds building and using killing machines can provide more good jobs by pivoting to the civilian, green economy. The webinar was sponsored by the Social Work Department of Souther Connecticut State University. It was aimed at bringing together sectors of the peoples’ movements including labor, church, climate, healthcare, welfare, civil rights and safe streets.
