Dare to Dream: The opportunity for students from around the world, including the USA, to attend ELAM, the Latin American School of Medicine. Graduates passionately describe how they grew up with desire but little hope to become a physician because of the enormous cost of medical school. Until they learned about ELAM. They share their experiences in medical school and as graduates practicing in underserved communities in the USA. Show this video to high school and college youth who dream of medicine but are too intimidated to pursue it. Also check out the website of IFCO, Pastors for Peace, the organization that helps students from the USA apply to ELAM and assists returning graduates to adapt to the US health care system.
